Hello and welcome to Newcastle Pet Care, let me introduce myself.

My name is Jason Farr and I have lived in Chesterton for all my 43 years, I'm married to my beautiful wife Marie and we have 2 smashing boys aged 13 and 9 and an adorable 3 year old Working Cocker Spaniel Izzie.

I have been around animals all my life. Starting aged 3 our family had 3 German Shepherd's, through my childhood we had numerous dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters. Along with my Grandad Herbie we even trained a whippet ready for racing (Queen of Sheeba). We now share our home with our crazy cocker Izzie.

In the past, I worked a night shift which gave me free time in the day. Being a fan of the great outdoors I would spend time walking our own dog. Having been approached by a friend, who asked if I could help him and take his dog with me as he now had to work long hours , I found myself helping and caring for more and more pets belonging to busy friends and family. Sometimes this may mean just popping in to feed them , checking they had plenty of fresh water (especially in summer months) and generally just checking that they were ok or for those that needed it , a walk in nearby green areas.

All Newcastle Pet Care staff are CRB checked, fully insured and have recently completed a Pet First Aid course.
